“Applying these words in my daily life has shown me the lies of the conditioning and programming I have received all throughout my life, which has set me free to speak the truth of that now with no attachment to concepts as knowedge.” R.S, Reiki Master, Virginia.

"I loved the book. It is amazing that when in desperation of needed change … something happens that changes everything. Rigid honesty is what the 12 step program calls it, truth is what you call it.” James L, Drug Counselor, Tennessee.

"This book answers many of the problems I had with anxiety and depression which was ruling my everyday life. I allow a simple thought to turn into such a nightmare and it is the foundation of an anxiety attack and depression. When the ‘thinking is thinking me’ syndrome that Edward points to was ‘caught,’ all that rubbish fell away. Reading this book was like defragging my brain." Mike, Tasmania

Editorial Reviews Amazon.com:
"A New Consciousness Born, You are the Source is a hard-hitting, non-fiction book which addresses every aspect of our lives; it shows us the manner in which we are trapped in our thinking processes. The book is transcribed from live conversations with Phillip LeRoy and others. With this book’s formatting, you can be drawn into and become part of the conversation. The new consciousness that Edward speaks of is violence free, and he takes a step-by-step, simple approach that points to what we can do to bring forth peace into our lives and onto the planet."

Coversation about Trust and the Unknown 5

E: Exactly, just like the thing I said about ice cream and cake. Let’s eat ice cream and cake and lose weight. People would normally jump up and say “Wait, you can’t eat ice cream and cake and lose weight.” Well they didn’t listen to the rest of it, did they? Because I’m saying “let’s eat ice cream and cake on Monday, and we won’t eat anything until next Monday and then we eat ice cream and cake.” Will we lose weight then?

Q: But you’re speaking in the context of losing weight?

E: Exactly and I’m pointing to how we jump to conclusions. That’s the point. So instead of saying “Wait a minute, how can we eat cake and ice cream and lose weight?” and then you find out, you say “That’s impossible.” So when you say that, what happens to your mind?

Q: My mind was already determined when you said eat some ice cream and cake, well you can’t lose weight.

E: Exactly, you already shut down. Because what do you know?

Q: I knew that you can’t eat ice cream and cake and lose weight and be healthy.

E: Alright now, stop right there. In the context of eating ice cream and cake, losing weight, staying healthy and all of that stuff, who’s the expert? Who knows all about it?

 Q: I do.

E: You do. Which shuts you down. It shuts your whole system down and you become ignorant right there on the spot.

Q : So when you said that to lose weight we need to eat some ice cream and cake, and I said, “that’s crazy. . .”

E: Exactly. What is that? Automatically you said it. What is that an indication of?

 Q: That I’m closed minded. I didn’t hesitate and I didn’t stop.

E: You didn’t look at possibilities; you looked at foregone conclusions.

Q: I didn’t take a break between what you said and what I said.

 E: Exactly.

Q: If there had been a break there; a pause, a space, then in that space I might have thought “Well, I wonder what he means?”

E: Exactly.

Q: But there was no pause.

E: There was no space between the thoughts. And what is the space between thoughts, it is intelligence.
